GOODBYE FRANCES AND GOOD LUCK
Mr. RD Patterson, manager, district number two, forwarded a letter he recently received from Frances Buratovich, a 26 year Safeway employee, who is taking early retirement.
Frances has been and is a very special person. It gives me great pleasure to share her sentiments with you:
“First of all, my employment with this wonderful company has been the best part of my life. It gave me an opportunity to serve my employer with honor and pride.
“In return, it helped me and my family to buy our home; raise our children; and give them the best education.
“For all of this, and many other things, I want to thank my employer from the bottom of my heart. I will always be proud to say: I was a Safeway employee for 26 years.”
Frances goes on to express her thanks
“… For the beautiful clock, and the luncheon for my 25 years of service.”
In closing, she again expresses
“… Most sincere thanks to my employer; to all my friends; and may God bless our company always.”
To Frances (whom we hate to lose):
While being happy for you on your retirement, I can only express my most sincere and heartfelt thanks for your having represented our company so magnificently for over a quarter of a century.
Frances, Safeway wishes you and your family the happiest and most fruitful future ever!
Sincerely yours,
ELDON W. STARKEY
Division Manager
