For 2023, NedBuratovich.com is being rebuilt for personal storytelling with multimedia vignettes. I have always imagined myself as a storyteller and here is where I intend to make that aspiration a reality.

These last five years, NedBuratovich.com was cast as a showcase for “Buratovich Family Stories.” This website became an online repository of my mom’s stories, poems, handiwork and family movies/videos old and new. Along with printed materials, I (and my caregiver helpers) used this material to keep memories fresh for mom while her mind was deteriorating from dementia.

However, after mom’s death in 2020, this site sat neglected while I concentrated on health recovery. I did make an attempt at daily online journaling the week after mom’s death, but faltered after one week. Chronic pain from a back injury made it difficult to sit at the computer for more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time.

By 2023, I’ve recovered enough functionality to restart work on this site. I’m extending the focus of NedBuratovich.com with the addition of my personal stories and journaling. I expect to spend the next few months reorganizing the technical structure of the site to support its new mission.
